Are you a motivated, enthusiastic team player who is looking to make the move into an exciting role where no two days are the same?
On offer is the opportunity to join one of Kent’s largest sites as a Conference Porter. You will work in a fast-paced, buzzing environment as you assist in coordinating various events for a wide range of clientele.
In this role, you will be assisting in setting up conference and meeting rooms, including all audio-visual equipment, tables and chairs, signage, and arranging the seating plan. You will be the first point of contact for visiting clientele and provide a concierge service.
The ideal candidate will have excellent organisation and communication skills and be able to provide outstanding customer service skills. You will be required to effectively co-ordinate tasks alongside the internal operations team.
As a Conference Porter, you will need to be able to perform physically demanding tasks, such as moving equipment and setting up furniture. Due to the nature of the position, flexibility with working hours will also be needed for evening/weekend events however this will be compensated in overtime pay/time off in lieu.
