A staple community pharmacy is now looking for a Second Pharmacist to join the team on a part-time basis, 3 days per week. - Hours either 8.30am-5.30pm or 9.30am-6.30pm

The pharmacy is in a prime location; close to public transport links, local amenities and care services and therefore sees a large and diverse number of visitors, with the team dispensing c.16,000 items per month and providing a broad range of accessible services – both NHS and private – including blood pressure checks, seasonal and travel vaccinations, emergency medicines, and more.

As Second Pharmacist, you will work alongside a highly experienced Pharmacy Manager and qualified pharmacy support professionals to dispense new and repeat prescriptions, advise patients on their medication and minor health concerns, and provide additional services in line with evolving community needs. (Vaccinations will be part of services offered)

The pharmacy has long-term goals to become a health service hub and is prioritising the enhancement of its non-dispensary activities, meaning you will be able to take part in the development of primary care services with opportunities to shape your own CPD journey.

With the team’s support behind you, this role would suit a Pharmacist looking for a part-time role that still offers great professional development and the room to expand their community pharmacy expertise.

This is a permanent, part-time position for 3 days per week, to be agreed with you.
